Oregon grape is a versatile herb of the Berberine family. Berberines have been used by herbalists for many years to help fight Candida and a wide range of bacterial infections, and for organ support.  We use Oregon Grape to help fight yeast in our Candida Program. Oregon Grape may also help fight many other infections including Lyme disease and related infections and herpes viruses.

Oregon Grape is useful for many types of organ support. It helps support the bladder, blood, bile and liver, and protects cells from damage.  Known as a blood cleansing herb, Oregon Grape supports healthy bladder functioning and stimulates the liver and secretion of bile. Studies support the abilities of berberines to quench superoxide anion radicals and exert other protective effects against oxidative damage to cells. Oregon Grape is great during cold season, as it may reduce inflammation, support the immune system, and help to calm digestive disturbances.

Anyone with digestive problems should know about Oregon Grape. Herbalists count on Oregon Grape to support healthy digestion in people with problems such as abdominal fullness and distention, constipation alternating with diarrhea, foul-smelling loose stools, general feeling of heaviness, nausea or reduced appetite.

Oregon Grape is low in phenols, and is safe for use by young children. Our Oregon Grape is organically grown in the U.S., and our extract is alcohol-free, and lightly flavored with natural lemon.
