SSII

Spectrum Support II, in either the original (P5P) form or the lower-intensity PAK
version, is the starting liquid multivitamin formula used by a large majority of
the children taking our supplements. It is designed to provide a moderate level of
nutritional support for children and adults on the Spectrum. SSII provides extra
nutritional support for the neurological and metabolic systems, in a very easy-to-
absorb liquid form. It has a broad nutrient profile of 44 vitamins, minerals,
accessory nutrients, herbs, and essential oils created to normalize metabolic
function. Spectrum Support II's nutrients and herbs support digestion, digestive
tract integrity, blood sugar regulation, detoxification, immune function, vascular
integrity and circulation, as well as enhanced cerebral oxygenation and
neurological function.

Spectrum Support II and Spectrum Support II with PAK each contain two bottles:
Part A - Vitamins and Part B - Minerals. Our 32-ounce bottles provide over a two
month supply for a 25 pound child, a one month supply for a 50 pound child, or a
23-day supply for a 100 pound child. The supplements are in the form of a kid-
friendly, easy to dose liquid suspension. The supplements are flavored with
natural flavor extracts and low-glycemic index vegetable glycerin. They are
available in Lemon Lime, Strawberry and unflavored (but still sweetened).
Spectrum Support II Vitamins and Minerals are designed to be mixed together
and given 3 times a day, with meals, either in juice or other beverage, or alone
with a glass of water afterward.

ABOUT THE TWO KINDS OF SPECTRUM SUPPORT II

Spectrum Support II now comes in two varieties: the original formula with P5P,
and with PAK. P5P and PAK are two different forms of vitamin B6. The only
difference between the two forms is that the original P5P form contains the active
P5P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) form of vitamin B6, and the PAK form contains the
pyridoxine alpha ketoglutarate (PAK) form of vitamin B6 instead. Pyridoxine
must be converted to P5P for the body to use it, which means that the body gets
several times as much effective vitamin B-6 per milligram of P5P than it does
from PAK or other pyridoxine forms.

As you may have read, vitamin B6 can be extremely very helpful to many
children. However, depending on the individual child's readiness to absorb
nutrients and unique body chemistry, some can take P5P with excellent results,
and others do better starting out with PAK and working up to P5P if appropriate
as their bodies start working better. If your child is in the early stages of
treatment, or if you do not know if they tolerate high amounts of vitamin B-6, we
suggest starting out with PAK and working up to P5P.

ABOUT THE MINERALS

The Spectrum Support Minerals used as "Part B" with Spectrum Support I, II,
IIPAK and III are chemically bound to five Krebs cycle intermediaries (fumarate,
citrate, malate, succinate and alpha ketoglutarate) utilized to enhance cellular
energy production. Minerals bound to Krebs intermediaries are far better
absorbed, utilized, and tolerated than minerals bound to sulfate, oxide,
carbonate, or chloride. In addition, all our mineral formulas are iron and copper
free.

ABOUT THE LIQUID SUSPENSION

The nutrients in these supplements are broken down into extremely small
particles in a gentle, technologically advanced liquid suspension formula which is
readily absorbed in the digestive tract and better utilized throughout the body
than conventional powders, capsules, tablets or standard liquid solutions.

WHAT OUR SUPPLEMENTS DON'T INCLUDE

All of our products are completely free of egg, wheat, wheat germ oil, gluten,
dairy, casein, yeast, corn, soy, refined sugars, sodium benzoate preservative, as
well as artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors.

Every effort has been taken to eliminate any significant sources of natural
salicylates, phenols, or benzoates, making Spectrum Support II Feingold
Association acceptable for Stage One.

We have never used added sugar, artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or sodium
benzoate preservative in our supplements and we never will.
