Calcium status has long been a concern for parents. It is
crucially involved in bone growth and integrity, as well as
neurological, cardiovascular and muscular function. We
have responded to this concern by developing a liquid
calcium supplement that serves many different needs.

Calcium supplementation with meals can be somewhat
problematic. In the significant quantities needed by
children on a casein-free diet, calcium can interfere with
digestion by significantly diminishing the activity of
hydrochloric acid in the stomach. While calcium requires a
certain amount of co-factored magnesium to be properly
metabolized, at higher levels calcium acan also compete
with it for absorption in the digestive tract, greatly
diminishing the effect of crucially needed magnesium.

One of the benefits of calcium is it's calming and relaxing
function on the nervous system and its integral role in the
functions of the inhibitory neurotransmitters serotonin and
acetylcholine. Providing calming calcium supplementation
just before bedtime to enhance sleep and two hours
away from both meal digestion and primary magnesium
supplementation is without question the ideal means of
delivering this vital nutrient.

NightCal was developed to meet the precise needs
described above. It utilizes available Kreb's chelate
minerals that are very well absorbed. NightCal is available
in either a natural lemon-lime flavor or a delicious
unflavored variety.

Optimal Total Daily Calcium Intake

from diet & supplements:

Infants, 6-12 months: 600 mg

Children 1-7 years: 1000 mg

Age 8-adult: 1200 mg

Each 6 TEASPOON Dose of NightCal Contains:

Calcium (Glycinate) - 500 mg

Magnesium from Kreb's Chelates - 30 mg

9/3/04 - The new formulation may also contain Calcium
Sulfate and small amounts of other minerals. We will post
it when it is complete.

In a base of purified water, coconut vegetable glycerin,
xanthan gum, naturally flavored with natural lemon and
lime flavor extracts (flavored version only) and preserved
with potassium sorbate and hydrochoric acid.
