Hello, everyone, it's Terri Mykland, the
CEO of BrainChild Nutritionals. When
I joined BrainChild in 2003, one of my
first questions was whether we were
ever going to make capsules with the
same remarkable absorption as our
liquids. My son has always been a
champion capsule-swallower, and I
thought that someday, it might offer
him more independence to be able to
take all his supplements as capsules,
rather than liquids. But of course, I
would never want to lose the great
absorption of BrainChild liquids.

At that time, the answer was "some day, but not now". We knew even then, though,
that if we ever made capsules, we wouldn't want to compromise the exceptional
absorption of our liquids, so some kind of liquid-filled capsule would have to be
developed. We were very small back then, and did not have the staff or resources to
develop anything like that.

Fast forward six years. BrainChild
has grown a lot, and I never forgot
how important capsules could be to
my son and other young people like
him. Like my son, many of those who
started on BrainChild liquids way
back then are teenagers now.

My son is 16, and has autism.
He's been taking our new
Liquid-Caps for a number of
months now, while we were
developing them. He is
mostly recovered, with some
issues remaining with focus
and learning speed. He was
willing to keep taking the
liquids he'd taken for many
years, but is really loving the
liquid-caps.

The time is here! We have developed
the technology to make liquid-filled
capsules with the same remarkable
absorption and bioavailability as our
regular liquid supplements. Just 6
capsules a day provides the entire daily

child, equivalant to an ounce of our

Since my guy started taking liquid-caps,
he's now completely independent taking
his supplements. He set an alarm on his
iphone to remind himself, and he keeps
track of each dose by marking them off on
a chart on the fridge in his rec room,
where he keeps his pill organizers (I fill
them for him). I'm very pleased to see
him taking care of his supplements all on
his own, gaining self-esteem and learning
valuable skills he will use the rest of his
life in keeping himself healthy.
