Bock
We really like this book! If we
had to choose just one, this
would be the book we'd pick
up when starting biomed
treatment.

"If you have to choose just one
book for a new parent to read
to get them off the ground
and jumping towards
Biomedical approaches for
their child's A-disease, this is
it."
Jepson
"Parents, family and friends
of children affected by
autism: This is an excellent
book to buy several copies
AND GIVE to the naysayers
that you know. These are the
folks that say Autism is not
treatable.... This is extremely
well organized book with
every study referenced in the
back of the book. Every
sentence is backed up with
science...
McCandless
This book is the original
"bible" of biomedical
treatment for autism.

Still an extremely useful
resource.
Murray
One of the very favorite
reference books around our
office. All our copies are
falling apart, we've used
them so much. Easy to use,
and well organized. It has
broad, useful information
about the most important
ones, including dosage
ranges, contraindications,
food sources, and on and on.
Kirby
From the reviews:
"David Kirby: you wrote one
of the most riveting, amazing
books I have read in a long
time... This book is 450+ pages
of very scientific but
EXTREMELY readable and
shocking information.

For all parents and
grandparents - YOU NEED
TO READ THIS BOOK. And do
us a favor.. give it to your
doctor, your friend the
senator and the next door
neighbor. "

Detoxify or Die
Sherry Rogers is a doctor
who believes that cumulative
toxic exposure is behind the
diseases that are on the rise
today. She is a believer in
infrared saunas as an
invaluable way to detoxify
chemicals and other bad stuff,
and gives us all the details in
this revolutionary book. Her
excellent suggestions are
meant for adults, but may be
adapted for children.
McCarthy
We really admire Jenny
McCarthy for having the guts
to stand up and say it loud
and proud! This is Jenny's
highly personal book about
her autism journey with her
son Evan. It takes her all the
way from despair to hope,
earning a pH.d in "Google
Research" and showing
people that these kids can get
better. An uplifting story for
anyone who needs to hear
this message.

My friend Paul, a longtime
BrainChild customer, and
autism dad extraordinare,
recommended this book to
me. MORE THAN A MOM is
more than a book: it's a very
affirming acknowledgement
of the strength and resiliency
of moms of children special
needs. If you ever doubt that
you really can do it, pick up
this book!
Richardson
I saw Alex Richardson speak
at the autism conference in
Bournemouth in February,
2007, and saw what a
powerhouse of a researcher
and advocate she is. Alex
feels strongly that we can do
much better with our
children's nutrition, and is an
expert in fatty acids, in
particular. Valuable reading.
Tierra
I asked Monique, our
herbalist, which book she
would recommend to our
customers who want to learn
more about herbs, and this is
the one. It's comprehensive,
clearly written, and readable,
even if you're not an herb
expert!
Tobe
A very unusual "manga" style
comic book about raising a
child with autism. Sounds
strange, but oddly beautiful.
My 17yo daughter, older
sibling to my son with
autism, was moved to tears
by it, and recommended it to
all her friends. A unique way
to help others see what it's
like.
